Jacqueline Fernandez has been making headlines for controversial reasons for a long time. The actress was rumoured to be in a relationship with conman Sukesh Chandrashekar which she later denied. It was also reported that he sent her many expensive gifts. Now, Jacqueline has opened up about meeting Sukesh and the luxury gifts he gave her. Conman Sukesh's 200 crore extortion case is currently being investigated by the ED (Enforcement Directorate). Jacqueline, who has been linked to the case, shared that she first met Sukesh in June last year.
According to an India Today report, Jacqueline told ED, "Sukesh was very sad and depressed about the demise of his uncle and asked me to attend the funeral in Chennai."
She said, "He sent me a private jet to take me from Mumbai to Chennai. He did not meet me at the airport but had sent an assistant. I reached the Hyatt hotel and Shekhar arrived an hour after that. We had lunch together in the dining room and chatted in the living room area of the suite. The next day, he came back to the hotel and ordered some breakfast. After breakfast, he dropped me at the airport. And I returned back to Mumbai in a private jet." Jacqueline shared that a week later, she met him for the second time. She travelled to Chennai with her friend on a private jet and returned back in the same. She revealed that she visited Kerala twice and travel was arranged by the conman. From the airport, she arrived at the hotel in a helicopter. Jacqueline shared that both the trips were personal.
When asked if she knew who owned the jets and helicopters, Jacqueline shared that Sukesh told her that he was the owner of them.
The actress also revealed that she had received a Mini Cooper from Sukesh, but she returned the same as she didn't want to accept the car. As reported by India Today, Jacqueline admitted to receiving three designer bags from Gucci, Chanel, two Gucci outfits, a pair of Louis Vuitton shoes and two pairs of diamond earrings.
