Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been hitting the headlines ever since she was accused by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) of her alleged involvement with conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar in Rs 200 crore money laundering case. As per the latest update, she has been asked to appear before Patiala House Court. With the development of the extortion case, Patiala House Court has asked Jacqueline and Sukesh to appear before the court at 2 PM on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, in connection with her plea seeking permission to travel abroad to Poland for the shooting of a film.

Last week, the Kick actress was questioned by the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) after ED attached several FDs in the case. As per the report in ANI, she insisted that the deposits were created from her own income even before Sukesh had entered her life.
Meanwhile, on August 18, ED summoned both the conman and the ‘Race 2’ actress for the cross-questioning and during the same Jacqueline agreed to receive 4 bags from Gucci, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Dior, 2 shoes from Louis Vuitton, and Louboutin, 2 outfits from Gucci, perfumes, 4 cats, a Mini Cooper, 2 diamond earrings, a multicoloured diamond bracelet from Sukesh.
On the work front, the 37-year-old actress will make her Hollywood debut with the upcoming anthology Women Stories. She will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus along with Ranveer Singh and Pooja Hegde. The film is slated to release on December 23, 2022.
