Janhvi Kapoor Confesses Gunjan Saxena Director Sharan Sharma Is Her 3 AM Friend; Says, ‘I Have A Deep Friendship With Him’
Janhvi Kapoor shares she has a close bond with her Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl director Sharan Sharma. Says she can call him up even at 3 am
Young actor Janhvi Kapoor just spilt the beans about whom she shares a close bond with from the film industry in her recent video chat with Navbharat Times. The 2 film old actress already has 3 favourite people from the tinsel town on the list, including filmmaker Karan Johar, her debut film Dhadak director Shashank Khaitan and director Sharan Sharma who helmed Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. But the actress shared being very close to Sharan Sharma, almost terming him her 3 am friend.
The Dhadak actress confessed that if ever she is in a tight shot she won’t hesitate to call him even at 3 am and get a solution to her problems. She shared that during Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’s shoot the two came close, which translated to the two understanding each other very well as well as now sharing a deep bond of friendship. She also stated as time passed by she felt her film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl was like a child which was raised by them together, further crediting the film for their connection.
She said, “If I am in any dilemma even at 3 o'clock in the night, I will call Sharan Sharma and he will solve my dilemma. I have a deep friendship with him, it has become necessary for me to talk to him every day, this was the journey of Gunjan Saxena, during this journey we have come very close and have started understanding each other a lot.”

“Our mutual understanding is as a personality and also creatively. Now it seems that our film Gunjan Saxena is our child, whom we brought up together. In a way, we have connected with each other through the film,” she added.
When asked if she urges KJo, Shashank and Sharan to cast her in their films, replying to which she mentioned not at all, each film’s casting is locked on basis of its script and what the story demands. However, she shared about telling Sharan that she would love to be part of his films. She said, “'I tell Sharan that I have to be a part of each of his films, even if I remain in his film's supporting team.
