Bharat Bandh is being observed today after Parliament passed three Farm bills recently. The move came in after various groups of farmers called for a nationwide shutdown today against the three farm bills. These bills were passed by Lok and Rajya Sabha in the Parliament during the Monsoon session and awaiting presidential assent. While its major effect was seen in North India, many Punjabi celebrities are seen standing in solidarity with the protesting farmers including Diljit Dosanjh and Bigg Boss 13 fame and Punjabi sensation Himanshi Khurana.

This afternoon, Himanshi Khurana stood in solidarity with farmers and joined their protest in Punjab. Opting for a traditional dress, the actress addressed the media and spoke in support of India’s Kissan. Now being a doting boyfriend Asim Riaz took to his Insta story and applauded GF’s move. Asim shared Ms Khurana’s picture from the protest in Punjab and wrote, “Well Done! Himanshi Khurana.” Check out his Insta post below:
