Janhvi Kapoor Opens Up About The Paparazzi Culture; Mr And Mrs Mahi Actress Says, ‘Har Celebrity Ka Ek Ration Card Hota Hai’

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is currently gearing up for the release of Mr And Mrs Mahi, co-starring Rajkummar Rao. Throughout the promotions, she has been making revelations about her personal and professional life. Even before making her debut with Dhadak in 2018, being the daughter of the late legendary actress Sridevi, she was in the limelight due to the media. Now, in a recent interview, she opened up about the recent paparazzi culture and shared that every celebrity has a ration card.
Talking to Lallantop about the same, she opened up about her understanding of the paparazzi culture and how the latter often posts photos and videos of celebrities being spotted out and about the city. She explained that all the celebrities have a ‘ration card’ and depending on that, the paps either follow them around or are called. It depends on the price they receive by covering a celebrity. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, the 27-year-old actress said, “Har celebrity ka ek ration card jaise hota hai. Inki picture itne mein bikti hai. Agar aapka price ho, toh pohnch jaate hain, gaadi follow kar lete hai. Kapoor went on to add that she often calls the shutterbags for her film promotions and not during her personal time. She added, “Lekin jab film ki promotion nahi ho rahi hai, jab shoot mein nahi jaari hoon, jab gayab hona chahti hoon, tab woh, agar woh extra effort loge, toh woh aap nahi dekhoge. Aisa kahi baar hua hai ki ya toh woh aapke gaadi ko follow karte hai, kyunki har picture ka, har image ka unhe paisa milta hai.”
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in Bawaal alongside Varun Dhawan. She has Mr. & Mrs. Mahi co-starring Rajkummar Rao, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari alongside Varun Dhawan and Ulajh, co-starring Roshan Matthew and Gulshan Devaiah in her pipeline. Apart from that she is currently busy shooting for her Telugu debut in Devara alongside Jr NTR. The makers of Ram Charan’s upcoming untitled project also announced her as their leading lady.
