Bollywood’s IT couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to welcome their first child in September, after being together for over a decade. With their minimal media appearances, it was heavily speculated by the netizens that the couple opted for surrogacy. Shutting down the rumours, she flaunted her baby bump during the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. However, even then she was brutally trolled for faking her baby bump and her walking style. Now, after maintaining silence for months, Singh has the perfect comeback for all the naysayers.
Sharing photos of his pregnant wife on his Instagram stories, from a recent photoshoot, where she was donning a pretty yellow dress, he gushed over her pregnancy glow. The 38-year-old actor called her “My Sunshine” in the first photo. Gushing over her gorgeousness, he captioned the second photo, “Uff! Kya Karu Main? Just after the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actor gave a befitting reply to the trolls, Deepika took to Instagram to share a video compilation from the same photoshoot. She captioned the reel, “Sunshine state of mind.” Well, it is safe to say that fans came out in support of the 38-year-old actress and heaped praises on her. They flooded the comment section of the post with red hearts and loved-up emojis. Many even shared motivational messages. For the unversed, the lovely couple fell in love while working with him for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2012 movie Ram-Leela. Six years after dating each other, they tied the knot in 2018. In February 2024, they took to their official social media handle to share a collaborative post, announcing their pregnancy. They informed their fans that their baby will be arriving in September 2024.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Fighter alongside Hrithik Roshan. She has Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD in the pipeline. She will also be entering Rohit Shetty’s cop universe as Shakti Shetty. She will mark her entry in the cop universe with Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor starrer Singham Again. On the other hand, Ranveer has Don 3 alongside Kiara Advani.
