Late actress Sridevi and filmmaker Boney Kapoor’s elder daughter and Bollywood newbie Janhvi Kapoor is back to rule the silver screen. After facing severe criticism for her last release Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Janhvi Kapoor will now entertain the audience with her upcoming film Roohi. A few days back, the makers of Roohi dropped the official trailer of the film and it took social media by storm. The film that also stars Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma in the lead roles is all set to hit the theaters next month, March 11, 2021. After dropping a few intriguing posters, Janhvi Kapoor along with her co-stars have kickstarted the promotions of the film.
After slaying it in a neon green tube dress with a trail, Janhvi Kapoor now has an inspired DDLJ twist for her latest film promotions. Yesterday, Janhvi Kapoor took to her Instagram account and shared some dazzling pictures from her Day 2 of film promotions. Janhvi paired her backless silver sequined top with hot pink pants. Sporting a dewy make-up look, Janhvi Kapoor picked shimmer purple winger eyeliner with nude lips. Janhvi tied her hair in a sleep low ponytail with statement earrings. The Gunjan Saxena rounded off her look with a few statement rings and nude heels.
While we couldn’t take our eyes off her quirky look, what caught our attention was her DDLJ twist. Flaunting her sexy back, Ms. Kapoor captioned it, “Palat… #Roohi Day 2.” If you’re a DDLJ fan then you would remember Shah Rukh Khan’s scene from the film and the world famous dialogue, “Agar woh mujhse pyaar karte hi toh who Palat ke dekhegi.” Check out her pics below:
On the professional front, Janhvi Kapoor will next be seen in Roohi, and also has Good Luck Jerry in the pipeline. (ALSO READ: Janhvi Kapoor Looks Breathtaking In A Strapless Neon Dress With A Sweetheart Neckline; Her Gorgeous Snaps Leave Fans Spellbound- PICS INSIDE)
