Janhvi Kapoor Speaks About Her New-Found Equation With Daddy Dearest Boney Kapoor After The Demise Of Her Mom Sridevi
In an interview, Janhvi Kapoor revealed that she has developed a new equation with her father Boney Kapoor after the tragic demise of Sridevi
After the tragic demise of veteran iconic actor Sridevi, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor got all the support and love from their father and producer Boney Kapoor who has always been there beside them like a doting father. Now that Boney is taking care of his daughters as a single parent, Janhvi was asked if her father has become a little paranoid with her. To which, the Roohi actor revealed that she has developed a new equation with him.
Janhvi told TOI, "No, in fact, he has become a very close friend. A very new equation has developed between him and me. Today, I can talk to him about everything.” Janhvi also said that she consults her Daddy Dearest on every script. As the entire industry seeks opinion or help from Boney, she wants to avail it. Janhvi and Khushi, and of course even Arjun and Anshula, are very eagerly awaiting Luv Ranjan's upcoming Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer wherein their Boney Kapoor will play Dimple Kapadia's husband and Ranbir's father.
Speaking about the same, Ms Kapoor quipped, "We are very excited. We really wanted him to do the role. He was quite apprehensive when the offer came along. But Arjun, Anshula, Khushi and I drove him to do it”.
Meanwhile, Janhvi recently released her film Roohi in the theatres and got some rave reviews from critics as well as the audience but her father Boney is proud of what Janhvi has done. “Janhvi, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma are a riot in Roohi. Janhvi is working so hard. She wants to get better with every film. Her mother would have been proud of her,” he told SpotboyE.com.
