On Thursday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a Janta curfew on March 22 and has requested all the citizens to express their gratitude for the government officials like the transport service people, media reporters, doctors, nurses, home delivery people and many more who have rigorously worked hard to keep the citizen safe from the pandemic coronavirus or COVID-19, by going out on their balconies or standing at their doors and windows at 5 pm on March 22 and clapping, banging on their plates or ringing bells. Fortunately, the world united and supported PM Modi for this movement and 90% of the population came out in open and supported the cause.

Amongst many, Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan who have urged fans to extend support to Modi on their social media were also seen following the suit. In the video, Akshay is seen banging a plate along with Hrithik Roshan and Housefull 4 producer Sajid Nadiadwala. We also see some BMC officials out there who are clicking their videos. While sharing the video, he wrote: “5 mins at 5 pm: With my neighbours taking a moment to appreciate those who do not have this luxury of staying at home and working tirelessly to keep us safe. Thank you to all the essential service providers for your selfless work #JantaCurfew #BreakCorona @hrithikroshan #SajidNadiadwala”
