Turns out, the beefy actor-producer was especially impressed with Varun after Badlapur and wanted to cast him in a film that brought his acting skills to the fore.
During the course of filming Dishoom, John bounced a story off Varun and the youngster instantly gave his nod.
Confirming that he has roped in the Badlapur actor for a film under his banner JA Entertainment, John said, “Yes, I’m writing a script for Varun.”
