The hugely-anticipated trailer of Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao's next Judgementall Hai Kya was dropped online like a couple of days ago. Though the film was mired in a few controversies, the trailer yet garnered a lot of appreciation from the viewers. Within four days of its release, the makers are all set to release the first track Wakhra Swag from the album.
Joining the recent list of recreations after Tip Tip Barsa Pani for Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi and Sheher Ki Ladki from Sonakshi Sinha's Khandaani Shafakhana, a promotional song has been shot by Kangana and Rajkummar and it is a recreated version of Badshah’s Wakhra Swag.
Kangana Ranaut said in a statement, "I am not used to being a part of a promotional video, I don't like to do them. But because Ekta Kapoor has a certain vision for marketing, I was up for it. This is not just a disco number but has a theme to it wherein both Rajkummar Rao and I take on each other. There was a story here and it was relevant to the narrative. My character, Bobby is a fun person and very stylish. Sheetal had that in mind. The team also wanted me to project my personality which is a lot more fierce, urban and stylish."
While Rajkummar Rao said on Wakhra Swag, "Kangana and I together in a song is something nobody has seen before and I have to say designer Sheetal Sharma has done a fab job with the styling. I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this song and a big thanks to Ekta Kapoor and team for showcasing me in this avatar."
For those unaware, the film was earlier titled Mental Hai Kya, but due to a controversy which erupted over the usage of the term “Mental”, the makers had to change the title to Judgmentall Hai Kya. The film which is helmed by Prakash Kovelamudi, will hit the big screens on July 26, 2019. Ekta Kapoor's film will be battling out with Kriti Sanon, Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Sharma starrer Arjun Patiala.
