Just In: Aamir Khan meets PM Narendra Modi for dinner

Aamir Khan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in Mumbai to kickstart the Make In India Week this evening. SpotboyE has it that the actor joined the PM for dinner at the Mahalaxmi Race Course. Kangana Ranaut too was present at the dinner.
We hear, the two actors met the PM around 7.30 in the evening and were seen leaving the venue around 9 pm.
Aamir’s meeting with the PM comes at an interesting juncture. The actor recently courted controversy with his intolerance comment, where he stated that his wife Kiran Rao often contemplates leaving India owing to the growing disquiet in the country.
In January, Aamir was removed from his post of Incredible India ambassador (Aamir confirms his exit from Incredible India, Big B may replace him, Jan 7). The Tourism Ministry stated that his contract had expired and dismissed rumours that he had been stripped of his role because of his intolerance comment.
