Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, directed by filmmaker Karan Johar, was released in 2006 on August 11. KANK completed 15 years of release on Wednesday. The film starred superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Kirron Kher, Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerjee, Abhishek Bachchan and Preity Zinta. The movie was set in the backdrop mostly around New York City and was all about love, marriage and relationships. Celebrating the film’s legacy, Karan Johar and Abhishek Bachchan made posts on their respective social media accounts.
Taking to Twitter, Karan Johar tweeted a video of moments from the film Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. The filmmaker mentioned that the film will always remain extremely special to him. Karan expressed his feelings as the KANK completed 15 years. He wrote, “A film that will always remain extremely special to me. Tough to fathom that it's been 15 years to all the memories we made on set, while creating the music and so much more!! Here's to the kind of love that's strong enough to never say alvida to!!Red heart #15YearsOfKANK”

KANK actor Abhishek Bachchan also made a post. He took to his Instagram stories and reminisced about working on this project. Jr Bachchan shared the poster of the film and wrote, “Truly.. you can never say Alvida to nostalgia! 15 years- What a journey!” The actor celebrated the film’s success and spoke about the journey. Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna is directed by Karan Johar and produced under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film also featured Arjun Rampal, Ahsaas Channa, Kajol, and John Abraham. Notably, the movie was not a big success, but still is considered one of the best works by Karan Johar.
