Kabir Singh Trailer Launch: Shahid Kapoor's Life After His Break-Ups Was "Colourless"
The trailer of Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh was released a while back. At the launch event, Shahid was asked as to how did he deal with break-ups in real life. Here’s how he reacted
Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh is an alcoholic, who is on a
self-destruction mode after falling head-over-heels in love with a girl. The
trailer of the film was released a while back, and we could only stop and stare
at the actor for depicting the pain of a crazy lover who can go to any lengths
just for a girl. Also, we loved the chemistry between Shahid’s Dr Kabir Singh
and Kiara Advani’s Preeti.
So, while the trailer is slowly and steadily earning praise on social media, at the launch event, when Shahid was asked as to how did he deal with break-up in real life and did he develop any bad habit after that.
Here was his reply: “Aap mile honge mujhse iss phase mein meri life ke. Farak sirf itna tha ki main clean-shaven rehta tha. Toh dil mein mere kya ho raha hai woh pata nahi chalta tha. Dil toh sabka tootta hai and I think Kabir Singh ke level tak koi nahi le jaata. There are very few people who take it to that level. That’s why probably he is a character that you would want to watch a film about because he is so different and so new. But of course, when heart breaks you don’t like anything. It feels like you’re watching a black-and-white movie. Life becomes colourless. But then, you have to get over it and move on.”
