Kajol On Advising Daughter Nysa Devgan, Son Yug How To Handle TROLLING: ‘If Five People Write Negative, 2,500 Others Will Talk Positively’
Kajol reveals advice to her children Nysa and Yug on how to handle online trolling
Kajol is all set to enthrall fans with her upcoming film ‘Salaam Venky’ where she plays the role of a caring mother to a terminally ill boy who is diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. As the actress is busy promoting the same, she has been talking about her own kids, daughter Nysa and son Yug during media interviews. In a new interview, she revealed what advice she gave to her children in handling online trolling.
The Dilwale actress mentioned she tells her daughter and son to focus on positive things than negative. If five people write 'negative things', then '2,500 others' will talk positively about them, so they should concentrate on positivity. Mid-Day quoted Kajol as saying, “You will always be protective about your children, but you have to [understand] that this is bound to happen. So, the four of us spoke about it. I explained to them that if there are two or five people writing negative things about them, there are 2,500 others who have said lovely things about them. Earlier, while speaking with Etimes, Kajol spoke about whether she gets bothered by her daughter Nysa Devgn getting constantly trolled on social media. The actress explained trolling has become a very strange part of social media and that if you are trolled, you are noticed and are famous. She has advised Nysa to ignore the negative side and to look into the brighter aspect.
Nysa and Yug are Kajol and her actor husband Ajay Devgn’s children. While the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Nysa in 2003, their son was born in 2010.
Talking about Salaam Venky, the film, which is based on the real-life story of Kolavennu Venkatesh and his mother, is slated to release on December 9.
