Kajol Reveals Nysa Devgn’s Hilarious Response On Being Told ‘I Hope You Get A Daughter Like Yourself’

Bollywood actress Kajol has been making the headlines recently for choosing bold projects like Lust Stories 2 and The Trail. Known for her witty responses and comeback, she is considered as one of the timeless beauties in the Hindi film industry. She is often seen sharing anecdotes and hilarious incidents from her personal life. During a recent interaction, she was asked if life has come to a full circle where a mother often tells her daughter, ‘I hope you get a daughter like yourself.’
Recalling the hilarious incident, the 48-year-old actress revealed she grew up listening to the phrase from her mother, actress Tanuja. She went on to share that recently said the same phrase to her daughter Nysa Devgn, however, she had a quirky reply to the iconic ‘mom’ dialogue. In the interview with Instant Bollywood, Kajol explained that Nysa told her, “No, I am going to have sons.” Adding to her witty remark, the young diva stated that she will be having sons because she cannot handle a daughter like herself. For the unversed, Nysa is Kajol and Ajay’s elder daughter. They also have a son, Yug. While the boy, just like his father, likes to keep a low profile, Nysa is often seen by the netizens out and about the city attending events and parties. She went on to add that she will always support her daughter as it is her right to do whatever she wants.
On the work front, last seen in Lust Stories 2 and The Trial - Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha, Kajol will be collaborating with her Dilwale co-star Kriti Sanon, for her maiden production Do Patti. The suspense thriller will be released on Netflix and will be based in the mesmerising hills of North India. She also has an untitled project with Dharma Productions, co-starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan.
