National-award winning actress, Kalki Koechlin welcomed her first child, with boyfriend, musician Guy Hershberg. During her pregnancy, the actress constantly dropped pictures and shared what she was feeling. Since the birth of her baby girl Sappho, Kalki shares beautiful photos with her daughter as she embraces motherhood. Just recently, Koechlin made a post, sharing some details about her love story with boyfriend Guy Hershberg. She dropped a cosy and mushy picture of them both together and penned a long note.
On Instagram, sharing a picture of her boyfriend and her, Kalki Koechlin recalled the time she first met Guy. Revealing some details on how she met him, she wrote, “We met at a petrol station on the way to the Dead Sea and started a conversation that lasted us several years of togetherness and a baby.” The actress also shared how they managed the long-distance in their relationship and further wrote, “We did the Bombay-Jerusalem commute every month for a couple of years where I used to pack fresh coconuts in my suitcase to Israel and he brought kilos of oranges and avocados to India.”
Kalki then went on to share how Guy taught her to eat middle-eastern salad for breakfast, while she got him to eat three regular meals a day. The actress also shared how her boyfriend learnt to cook biryani, while she learned to cook shakshuka. Talking about religious differences, she wrote, “He’s Jewish. Part Russian, part Polish, part Iranian. I’m of French origin, born and brought up in India. My first name is Hindu, my last name is Protestant. We have a daughter with a Greek name to whom we speak in Hebrew, French, Hindi and Tamil.” She finally mentioned that her boyfriend and she don’t follow any religious rites at home, but they share different customs and food. She ended her post writing, “We fight everyday about whose turn it is to do the dishes and we always split our dessert in equal parts.” Take a look at Kalki’s post and caption below:
