Kalki Koechlin Reveals Ex-Husband Anurag Kashyap’s Reaction To Her Pregnancy
This is what Anurag Kashyap told Kalki Koechlin when he learnt about her pregnancy
Kalki Koechlin took everyone by surprise when she announced her pregnancy with boyfriend Guy Hershberg. Kalki, who was seen in the 2nd season of Sacred Games, revealed to a leading newspaper that she is 5 months pregnant and will opt for water birth. Not only that, the actress also stated that she has already chosen the name of the baby. Kalki, who was earlier married to Anurag Kashyap, was granted divorce with him in May 2015. But since they parted way, the ex-couple share a cordial bond with each other. So much so that when Anurag learnt about Kalki’s pregnancy, she welcomed her to the parental club.
Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, when Kalki was asked about Anurag Kashyap’s reaction to her pregnancy, she revealed, “He’s just welcomed me to the parents’ club and told me to call if I need anything. Seeing Aaliyah (Anurag’s daughter) growing up and my own brother Oriel too, I’ve already got a glimpse into this role of a lifetime.”
Taking about the motherhood, Kalki revealed that the first three months are terrible! She further stated that she has developed so much respect for all the mothers out there who work or have to go through all this without emotional support. The second trimester is fun. She also said, “I have energy to work-out and I am cheerful at work. The kicks are amazing. Feels like there’s a little footballer in there!”
A few days back, Kalki shared
the first picture of her pregnant self. In the picture, the actress can be seen
comforting her baby bump. Captioning the photo she wrote, “Relieved I can let
that bump hang free after months of stuffing it into costumes which fit me at
the beginning of shoot schedules in July but were not so easy to zip up by mid
September! And kudos to my style saviours @who_wore_what_when for coming up
with innovative ways to cover it up!”
