Kalki Koechlin and Anurag Kashyap were once married to each other. Sadly, their marriage fell apart and they separated. Yet, they remain to be very good friends. On Anurag Kashyap’s birthday, Kalki took to her Instagram account and wished him in a very unique way. Generally, we post a picture of the person whose birthday it is and write an adorable post, but Kalki is different. She rather posted a creative of AK – 47 and some splash of colours and butterflies. It appears as if the gun is firing colours.
The Margarita With A Straw actor in her caption wrote, “Happy birthday AK-47 May you keep shooting wild and colourful films for very many years...”. That’s sweet. It was in 2011 that Kalki and Anurag tied the knot after being in an affair for a brief time. However, within five years of the marriage, they decided to split.
It was in 2015 that Kalki and Anurag sought divorce. In the joint statement announcing their separation, they wrote, “Me and Kalki are separating, we are taking time off from each other to figure things out. We are not divorcing. We request the media to please respect our privacy and give us our space and not speculate. Thank you, Kalki and Anurag.”
Kalki and Anurag have now moved on in their lives and have found love again. Anurag is now dating Shubhra Shetty, a former colleague while Kalki recently confirmed her relationship with boyfriend, Guy Hershberg, an Israeli composer.
