Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut was in news lately after she made a tweet comparing herself to Hollywood star and Academy-winner Meryl Streep. The actress shared a few pictures of her from her upcoming movies, Dhaakad and Thalaivi. Ranaut compared herself to Meryl Streep and said she has raw talent like the Mamma Mia! actress for “layered character depictions”. Immediately, many social media users were quick to slam her for comparison. Some also termed it ‘blasphemy’. This was not over here. Kangana reacted to a few social media users and also asked a few if Streep could do films like Tanu Weds Manu, Dhaakad, Queen, or Thalaivi.
Once again, Kangana Ranaut made a tweet, bashing everyone trolling her for comparing herself to Academy-winner actor Meryl Streep. The actress reacted to the trolls with a befitting reply and reminded them of her achievements. Taking to her Twitter handle, the Thalaivi actress tweeted, “Anyone who is asking how many Oscars I have can also ask how many national or Padma awards Meryl Streep has, the answer is none, come out of your slave mentality. High time you all find some self-respect and self-worth.” Kangana questioned everyone asking her about how many Oscars she has won, by asking them if Meryl Streep has won any Padma awards or National awards, conferred by the Indian government. Ranaut then asked trolls to come out of slave mentality and find some respect and self-worth.

Later, Kangana also called out for an open debate if anyone can show her more range and brilliance of craft than her by any other actress on the planet. She also promised to give up her arrogance. The actress had also compared herself to Marvel’s Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot.
