Kangana Ranaut Claims Mahesh Bhatt Threw A Chappal At Her, Says ‘He Was Literally About To Beat Me, His Daughter Held Him Back’
Kangana Ranaut claims Mahesh Bhatt was about to beat her after she rejected one of his films. She said that he chased her and threw chappal at her at Woh Lamhe’s trial
A few days ago, Kangana Ranaut’s team and Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter Pooja Bhatt had a war of words on Twitter. Pooja Bhatt had reminded Kangana that it was Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt’s Vishesh Films that launched her in Gangster. Replying to the tweets, her team hit back saying that does not give Mahesh Bhatt license to throw chappals at her. Now, in an explosive interview with Republic TV’s Arnab Goswami, Kangana opened up about this incident and claimed that Mahesh Bhatt was about to beat her after she rejected one of his films. She said that he chased her and threw chappal at her at Woh Lamhe’s trial.
During the interview, Kangana narrated her experience and said that she is grateful to the Bhatts for launching her but that, in no way, gives Mahesh Bhatt the right to throw chappal at her or call her names. She then went on to say how while discussing a film with Mahesh Bhatt, she said no to one of his films as she did not agree with the theme of the film which was showing the heroism of the suicide bomber. “I said NO to his film and he literally was about to beat me till his daughter held him back. I somehow escaped,” said Kangana.
She also said that she went to attend the trial of Woh Lamhe and was at the gate. Kangana claimed Mahesh Bhatt then went on to throw a chappal at her, she then managed to run away and save herself.
A few days ago, Kangana Ranaut’s team hit back at Pooja Bhatt’s tweet with, “Dear @PoojaB1972, #AnuragBasu had keen eyes to spot Kangana’s talent, everyone knows Mukesh Bhatt does not like to pay artists, to get talented people for free is a favour many studios do on themselves but that doesn’t give your father a license to throw chappals at her…” The tweet continued, “...call her mad and humiliate her. He also announced her "tragic end", Also why was he so invested in Sushant Singh Rajpoot's and Rhea’s relationship?
