Kangana Ranaut Cracks Up At Jim Sarbh’s Rape Joke, Twitter Erupts In Anger

Kangana Ranaut made her debut at the French Riviera this year. She was a sheer fashionista on the Cannes red carpet wowing fans and paps with her sheer presence.

Also present at Cannes this year was the Neerja and Padmaavat actor Jim Sarbh.

A video featuring the two has surfaced online. In it, Jim can be seen cracking a joke on rape, as Kangana stands by him and laughs in approval.

After the video invited flak on Twitter, Jim Sarbh told Hindustan Times that his comments were taken out of context. “It is unfortunate that my comments were taken out of context. I do not now nor have I ever condoned any form of sexual violence. This has been picked out of context without a prelude where I am actually enacting parts of a play which is a dark satire,” said the actor.

Jim says, “I’d rather be raped by 12 prostitutes than touch alcohol and the Punjabi says, ‘Me too, I didn’t know that was an option.”

Along with the rest of the audience Kangana too cracks up.
