Actor Kangana Ranaut set her foot in Bollywood with Anurag Basu’s Gangster also starring Shiney Ahuja and Emraan Hashmi. The film garnered immense appreciation, especially for the songs of the film. However, the one talent that blew everyone’s mind was Kangana who impressed all with her acting prowess. Today, the actor is celebrating 15 years of Gangster and for which, she recently took to her Twitter handle, tweeting about the same. She also drew a comparison with superstar Shah Rukh Khan, saying that her and SRK’s success stories are the biggest but there’s a slight difference.

In her tweet, Ranaut mentioned the difference between the two is Shah Rukh hailed from Delhi, was educated and his parents were involved in films, whereas, Kangana called her story to be quite the opposite. Saying she didn't know English, no education and came from a remote village, the actress wrote “15 years ago Gangster released today, Shahrukh Khan ji and mine are the biggest success stories ever but SRK was from Delhi, convent educated and his parents were involved in films, I did not know a single word of English, no education, came from a remote village of HP and…”. 

“Every step was a battle starting with my own father and grandfather, who made my life miserable, and yet 15 years later after so much success still every day is a fight for survival but totally worth it, thank you everyone #15yearsofgangster” she continued.

While some congratulated her for Gangster and were praising the film, there were some who did not like that Kangana was comparing herself with SRK. One commented, “Please, don't compare yourself with #SRK. Some times commonsense makes a so difference”, another one said, “You do you need to praise yourself by comparing with others.
