Kangana Ranaut is the fearless actor in Bollywood. She has received enormous adulation for her acting prowess. Ranaut is currently busy filming and shooting her upcoming directorial film ‘Emergency’. With the recent teaser launch, everyone praised her for the look. Now the director Ram Gopal Varma has lauded her.
Kangana Ranaut is playing Indira Gandhi, the former Prime Minister in the film. She recently shared the first look of the film and everybody is praising carrying the look gracefully. After the launch of the teaser, the audience applauded for her striking resemblance and mannerism to the Iron Lady of India, Mrs. Indira Gandhi. She shared the teaser on Instagram and along with the clip she wrote, “Presenting ‘Her’who was called ‘Sir’”. Her comment section was filled with compliments. Her colleagues from the industry like Ekta Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Sunil Lahri, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari to name praised her. 




Now, joining the bandwagon of the Gangster actress’s praise is the filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. He is known for speaking his heart out without any filters. He took to his Twitter handle and praised the Fashion actress. The director-producer shared an old interview of our former PM Mrs. Gandhi and wrote, “Believe it or not! Indira Gandhi is acting like #KanganaRanaut. Check Indira Gandhi Full Interview 1984”. Expressing her gratitude towards him, she took to her Instagram handle and wrote, “Hahaha Thank you sir, it is reassuring as I cast myself in this role.”

For the unversed, she had collaborated with the Oscar-winning makeup artist David Malinowski for transforming herself into Indira Gandhi. The film is based on the sensitive socio-political situation emergency of our country imposed between 1975-1977. The magnum opus is backed by her home production Manikarnika Films.
Besides this Kangana also has Tejas, Tanu Weds Manu Returns 3 and Manikarnika 2 in pipeline. She is also producing Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Tiku Weds Sheru, which will release on Amazon Prime.
