Since the actress official became an active social media user, she has constantly spoken her mind on concerning issues. After sharing her thoughts on the farmer’s protest in Punjab, Ranaut now made a tweet, reacting to a post made by Congress leader Shashi Tharoor. The actress expressed her disapproval over Shashi Tharoor extending support to Kamal Haasan’s idea of recognising housework as a salaried profession.
On Twitter, Kangana Ranaut reacted to the post made by Tharoor, with a quote tweet. Shashi Tharoor’s tweet read, “I welcome @ikamalhaasan’s idea of recognising housework as a salaried profession, w/the state govt paying a monthly wage to homemakers. This will recognise & monetise the services of women homemakers in society, enhance their power& autonomy & create near-universal basic income.” In the tweet, Tharoor welcomed Kamal Haasan’s idea of recognising housework as a salaried profession and said that it will recognise and monetise the services of women homemakers in the society, enhance their power and more. In her reply, Kangana requested that a price tag must not be put and asked to not pay women for mothering their own. She added how women do not need a salary for being the ‘Queens’ of their own little kingdom. Ranaut also asked to stop seeing everything as a business.
