Kangana Ranaut Says She's 'Dehati' And 'Gawar' But Does The Internet Agree With Her?
Kangana Ranaut has remained unfazed despite industry pressures; the actress has been and continues to be vocal about several issues pertaining to her work life or her personal life.  At the recently held India Today Mind Rocks 2019 event, Kangana did not hold back from calling herself gawaar and dehati, giving a headline-worthy statement for many publications.  The actress was heard saying this when she spoke about her rise in the tinsel town and a lot of unspoken norms dwelling in the industry.



At the event, the actress was heard saying, “I don't think the industry is unfair. They're in shock, that yeh kaise ho gaya [her rise in the industry]. In my story, there are many firsts. I am a mountain person; I'm a "dehati, gawar". What is on my mind is on my mouth. I don't listen to anyone. I don't have an agency, PR. I have done everything according to the world. Nobody has functioned like this. I wake up in the morning, and I know what I want to do. I know I'm very loved.”

This statement of Kangana got many of her fans raving about her. Her fans on social media platforms ended up appreciating the actress and terming her as the role model for gen-next. Besides this statement, her answer to what would she do if she wakes up as Hrithik Roshan, was nothing less than an explosion. The actress though was hesitant in the beginning on being insisted by the audience said, “I will call Kangana and I will tell her I'm sorry for what I did.”
