Kangana Ranaut Targets Karan Johar's 'Koffee With Karan' Whilst Praising Simi Garewal's Talk Show; Writes His Interviews Are About 'Bitching, Bullying, Gossip, Frustrated S*x'

Kangana Ranaut called Karan Johar the 'flag-bearer of nepotism' on his talk show Koffee With Karan and ever since then there has been a tiff between the two. The Manikarnika actress often targets the filmmaker in her tweets, interviews and more. Once again, she has mentioned about Koffee With Karan and said not-so-good things about the same. She praised Simi Garewal's talk-show Rendezvous With Simi Garewal and stated that she tapped into the essence of a celebrity.

Replying to a tweet that spoke about Simi gracefully conducted the interviews, Kangana Ranaut stated that she referred to her interview with J Jayalalithaa for her film Thalaivi. Kangana tweeted, "Yes @Simi_Garewaltapped tapped in to real essence of a celebrity, A complete sketch of the subject. Rendezvous with Jayaa maa has helped me a lot in my research, same can’t be said about certain Papa Jo whose interviews are all about bitching, bullying, gossip and frustrated sex."

After Kangana accused Karan of nepotism, at an LSE event, the filmmaker stated that he was done with her playing the victim card. "She was my guest and I had to hear what she had to say. She has a right to have an opinion. When she says ‘Flag bearer of Nepotism’, I just want to say her, I am glad she knows what it all means. I don’t think she has understood the entire meaning of the term. What is nepotism… am I working with my nieces, nephews, daughters, cousins? And what about those 15 filmmakers, who are not from the film industry, who I have launched and who did the movies. That we’re not going to talk about! Tarun Mansukhani, Puneet Malhotra, Shakun Batra, Shashank Khaitan… they all come from no film background. You give these people film careers and they have a platform to stand on and that’s the reverse of nepotism," he had said.
