Kangana Ranaut has been making it to the headlines quite often. More for the controversies surrounding her. The Manikarnika actress was quite vocal about Sushant Singh Rajput's death case and gave many interviews targeting nepotism. In one of the interviews, she even mentioned lyricist Javed Akhtar and that has dragged her to the court. Javed Akhtar filed a defamation case against Kangana Ranaut and now the actress has been summoned by a Mumbai Court.

On Monday, a Mumbai Court sent a summon to Kangana Ranaut in the case and asked her to appear on March 1. Responding to this news on Twitter, Kangana gave out a funny reply. She tweeted, "Geedaron ka ek jhund aur ek sherni …. mazaa aayega." Calling herself a lioness, Kangana stated that it would be fun to take on jackals. On social media, Kangana Ranaut has been frequently sharing her thoughts, opinions and more without mincing her words.

As per report in india.com, Mumbai Police informed the court that an offence of defamation is made out and it requires further probe. Post this, the court hearing the case sent summon to Kangana Ranaut. The next hearing is going to take place on March 1 as reported. In the complaint, Javed Akhtar reportedly claimed that the statements made by Kangana Ranaut hurt his reputation.


On the work front, Kangana will be next seen in Thalaivi in which she will be seen as J Jayalalithaa.
