Kangana Ranaut is in a legal soup once again. The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has sent her a legal notice. It all started with a tweet made by the actress over an old lady participating in farmers' protest. Kangana Ranaut misidentified a woman farmer from Punjab as Bilkis Bano who participated in Shaheen Bagh protest over CAA Bill. The actress stated that the Dadi was available for Rs 100 and that led to a massive backlash. Kangana deleted the tweet but many slammed her for her remarks. Now, DSGMC has demanded for an apology.
Manjinder Singh Sirsa, president of DSGMC quoted, "We have sent a legal notice to @KanganaTeam for her derogatory tweet calling the aged mother of a farmer as a woman available for Rs 100. Her tweets portray farmers protest as anti-national. We demand an unconditional apology from her for her insensitive remarks on farmers protest," as tweeted by news agency ANI. Over this, Kangana has sent a sarcastic reply.
The Manikarnika actress tweeted that so many people are filing a case against her to make her a legend. "Film mafia filed many cases on me, last night Javed Akhtar filed one more, Maharashtra government filing one case every hour now congress in Punjab is also joined the gang. Lagta hai mujhe mahan banake he dum lenge," she wrote.
Just yesterday, Kangana Ranaut had a war of words with Diljit Dosanjh on social media. The singer called out Kangana Ranaut for misidentifying the old lady at farmers' protest, and the actress responded. Attack and counter-attack between the two went on for a long time!
