Kangana Refuses to Fire the Next Salvo at Hrithik

Ex-flames Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut have been taking digs at each other in the last two days. While the actress referred to him as her ‘Silly Ex’ when he unceremoniously dropped her from Aashiqui 3, Hrithik shot back stating that he’d rather date the Pope than her (Hrithik would have an affair with the Pope but not Kangana, January 29). Now, it was Kangana’s turn to fire back. And she had the perfect opportunity at the launch of a cosmetic brand today.
When SpotboyE asked her what she had to say to Hrithik’s tweet, the actress simply smiled and chose to evade the question. But we weren’t going to give up as easily.
We asked her point-blank again: Isn’t it humiliating when an actor says that he is more likely to have an affair with the Pope than with you?
As soon as the question was put out, Kangana replied with a knowing smile, “This is not the right platform to talk about it.” (Since when has the firebrand actress worried about being politically correct?)
We made another attempt knowing that the actress does not usually shy away from speaking her heart out: Have you read Hrithik’s tweet?
Before Kangana could answer our question, her trusted lieutenant (read her sister-cum-manager Rangoli) jumped in to do her duty. “Kangana hasn’t read Hrithik’s tweet,” she quipped.
Okay then, Kangana. For now, that is.
