Director Sai Kabir thinks that this Punjabi actress fits the bill for the Irrfan Khan starrer
Kangana Ranaut is constantly making news – be it for her involvement in the Hrithik Roshan scandal or for her National Award win.
While the actress is enjoying her national honour, her aborted project Divine Lovers is finally seeing some upswing. Kangana walked out of the Irrfan Khan starrer in December last year citing date issues and director Sai Kabir has been hunting for a suitable replacement since then.

SpotboyE now has it that popular Punjabi actress Parul Gulati has been zeroed in for the role.
Who is Parul, you ask? The youngster has been seen in a few commercials and several Punjabi films, including the Yo Yo Honey Singh starrer Zorawar.

Says a source close to the project, “When Kangana opted out of the project, the makers considered taking the film to some A-list actresses. But after much thought, they felt a fresh face will be a better choice.”
