Kapil Sharma-Sunil Grover FIGHT: Zwigato Actor Breaks Silence On BREAKING Ties With The Fellow Comedian; Says, ‘I’m On Good Terms With Rest Of Them’
Six years after his ugly fight with fellow comedian Sunil Grover, Kapil Sharma opens up about the entire ordeal
Renowned comedians Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover were an unmatched pair, when they worked together in Comedy Nights with Kapil. Their chemistry and comedic pairing was loved by all, however it all came to a stand still when during their return from their Australia tour in 2017, the duo got into a nasty altercation. It led to Sunil’s exit from the show, and they have yet to work with each other. Now after six years, Kapil has opened up about what had happened.
During the promotions of his upcoming movie Zwigato, the 41-year-old revealed that he has always had anger issues. While he has worked on them, his short-temperament has led to an altercation. Kapil stressed on the fact that over the years he has improved a lot. When asked to comment on the reports of his fallout with actors Ali Asghar, Sumona Chakraborty, and Krushna Abhishek, who have been a part of his various comedy chat shows, he revealed that he shares a good relationship with everyone except for Sunil. He shared that despite people saying he has rivalries, he believes that “I have no rivalries with anybody, I am the one and only.” ALSO READ: WHAT! He added, “Call me egotistical if you will… Ask them why they don’t want to work with me. Yes, Sunil and I had a falling out. But, I’m on good terms with the rest of them.”
While the comedians never interacted after their nasty fight, in 2020 Kapil had reached out to Sunil after hearing about his heart surgery. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the duo to come together again for quite some time now. If reports are to be believed, the two have maintained a cordial relationship with each other and would like to work together in the future, if and when an exciting opportunity arises.
