Renowned television comedian Kapil Sharma is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Zwigato. The actor has been opening up about the dark phases of his life and experiences for quite some time now. In a recent media interaction, he opened up about considering himself a middle-class man, his relationship with his wife Ginni Chatrath and addressing the reports regarding his net worth.
In his interview with Aaj Tak, Kapil was asked if he really was worth Rs 300 crores like it was being reported, to which he laughed it off. He continued by stating that he has also lost a lot of money. The comedian went on to reveal that no matter his net worth, he will always consider himself a middle class man. He never thinks about his net worth, all that matters to him is having his own house, a car and a family. Kapil added that he is no saint and would never turn down the chance to earn money. “Meri soch salary wali hai,” says the 41-year-old actor, who made his Bollywood debut with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. He went on to share that it is wife Ginni, who likes to spend money rather than him. He went on to add that even after coming from a rich financial background his wife had no issues adjusting to his background. The comedian told the media publication that he has a lot of respect for his wife as she stood by him like a pillar during his tough times. Kapil also spoke about how he hopes to be the same person he always was for his family. He also expressed how he knows that his kids, daughter Anayra and son Trishaan, will experience life differently than him, as they know how privileged they are.
On the work front, Kapil Sharma is all set to return to the big-screens with his slice-of-life film, Zwigato. He is also handling his comedy-chat show The Kapil Sharma Show.
