Karan Johar Cites Kids As Reason For Taking Up A Food Based Show; 'They Enjoy Watching Me Cook More Than They Enjoy My Cooking'
Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor, Malaika Aroa and Arjun Kapoor have come onboard Discovery+ show Star vs Food. After Kareena Kapoor Khan's promo, Karan Johar has shared his video on his Instagram account. He has shared a video that sees him cooking something and learning a tip or two from chef Lakhan Jethani. Karan appears lost as he tries to figure out things in the kitchen. In the caption though, he has revealed why he did the show.

Citing kids as the reason, Karan stated that his twins, Yash and Roohi, love watching him cook. "I showed my kids this video and it gave me so much of joy to see their reaction. Turns out they enjoy watching me cook more than they enjoy my cooking, and that's one of the reasons I did this, because I knew it would make them happy."

The filmmaker also made a reference to the current Coronavirus situation and said, "And right now in this world, seeing all the sad news and everything that's happening... We all need to find whatever that brings us joy, and I hope you find yours. Stay home, stay safe. Ps - This was shot sometime back, and I'm glad I got to sharpen my culinary skills well before the lockdown under the guidance of one of Mumbai's finest chefs - @samurai_cook."

In the end, he mentioned that he is waiting for promo videos of Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor to release. Take a look at his video below:
