Karan Johar Gives A Sweet Shout Out To Shanaya Kapoor For Her First Ad; Actress Makes A Huge Mess While She Eats Spaghetti-Watch

Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor's daughter, Shanaya Kapoor has given fans a glimpse of her acting chops via a commercial. The star kid featured in an ad film that showed her as a model, who cannot eat spaghetti without making a mess. Karan Johar shared Shanaya’s first ad film on his Instagram and the filmmaker could not help but shower praise on her. For the unversed, KJo is launching Shanaya via his Dharma Cornerstone Agency (DCA).
Taking to his Instagram handle, Karan Johar shared the commercial and wrote, “Oh my god, @shanayakapoor02! Your hair looks gorgeous. But are you sure you have seen a bowl of spaghetti before? Thank you for this gem @the_misfit_way!” Shanaya, Maheep and Sanjay all left heart emojis on Karan's post.
The ad film, which is about a hair straightener, showed Shanaya eating handful (literally) of spaghetti straight out of the bowl. She was given a bowl of spaghetti to eat gracefully for the camera. However, she throws the fork away and eats by hand, letting the sauce drip on her face and hair.

Shanaya Kapoor, who had worked as an assistant director on her cousin, Janhvi Kapoor's movie Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, is a part of Karan's talent wing, Dharma Cornerstone Agency.
The filmmaker had announced Shanaya’s partnership with Dharma earlier in March. In an Instagram post, KJo had written, “Another beautiful addition to our growing @dcatalent family! Welcome to the #DCASquad, @shanayakapoor02. Her enthusiasm, perseverance and diligence is so amazing to see.
