In the finale episode of Koffee With Karan 7, Karan Johar finally reacts to not being invited to Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal's wedding
Ace filmmaker Karan Johar’s popular chat show ‘Koffee With Karan 7’ has come to its end after a successful run on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. The final 13th episode of the show was graced by Tanmay Bhatt, Danish Sait, Kusha Kapila and Niharika NM. They all finally made KJo break his silence on not being invited to Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding. Karan revealed that it was 'very embarrassing' for him to admit that he had not been invited to the couple’s wedding.
The filmmaker said that after Katrina and Vicky’s wedding a lot of sympathies and doubts poured in. He was constantly being asked why weren't you invited? Karan stated, “When Vicky and Katrina were getting married, it became very embarrassing for me. It got to a point where people were like you did not tell us about them, you are at the wedding and still not telling us etc! It got very embarrassing to admit that I had not been invited. Then after the wedding came the sympathies and doubts. People were like why weren't you invited? Adding to this, the 50-year-old director stated that he later found a little peace after he learned that even Anurag Kashyap was not invited to Vicky-Kat’s wedding.
For the unversed, Vicky and Katrina got married in an intimate ceremony in Rajasthan's Sawai Madhopur on December 9 last year. Their wedding was a close-knit affair with just family members and a few close friends in attendance. Even very few celebrities and their industry friends were invited to the wedding.
