Entire Bollywood came together to celebrate Karan Johar’s 50th birthday, last night and they made it a memorable affair. The filmmaker threw a grand and glitzy birthday bash at YRF Studio for his industry friends, who arrived in style. From perfectionist Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Anushka Sharma, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Vicky Kaushal- Katrina Kaif among others were spotted partying with Karan.
Several inside photos and videos from the bash have surfaced online and it speaks volumes about the lavish celebrations, which had the best food from renowned chefs and exotic sweet delicacies. In viral photos, Karan is seen striking happy poses with his friends. In one viral photo, he poses with Kajol and Aamir Khan, another photo showed him beaming with joy while posing with Rani Mukerji. Notably, social media has been abuzz with stunning photos and videos from the party with netizens going gaga over Bollywood’s biggest reunion. Many celebrity couples like Aishwarya-Abhishek Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan-Kareena, Vicky Kaushal- Katrina Kaif, Rakulpreet Singh-Jackky Bhagnani, Hrithik Roshan and his rumoured girlfriend Saba Azad made stunning appearances and posed for the photographers on the red carpet. Unlike these stars, Karan’s dear friend Shah Rukh reportedly made a private entry as he arrived from a different entry gate at Yash Raj Studios for the party. The 56-year-old actor made a secret entry to avoid getting clicked by the paparazzi.
Meanwhile, on his 50th birthday, Karan Johar announced his new action film and revealed that the movie will go on floors next year in April, after the release of his film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
