Karan Johar’s Next Starring Ranveer Singh And Alia Bhatt Is Titled Prem Kahani? Deets Inside
After filmmaker Karan Johar stated that his ambitious project Takht is on the back burner and not shelved, it was reported that the filmmaker is planning a film with the Gully Boy lead pair. The filmmaker’s next starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt is a romantic comedy and the makers have given a quirky title to it. As per Bollywood Hungama, makers are planning to title the film Prem Kahani; reports also shed light on the film’s plot.

A source was quoted saying, “The makers were on the lookout for a quirky yet relatable title and that’s when they zeroed in on Prem Kahani. The film is essentially a love story of two completely opposite characters, and the audience will get a glimpse of vintage Karan Johar, whose films at one point, were just meant to spread happiness, and take the audience in a fairy tale world.” Preparation for the same has begun with the makers vaccinating the crew members before they kick start shooting.

The source adds, “It’s all work in progress with set designing and other aspects being looked after in isolation. The music settings have also begun, as being a romantic saga, there lies ample scope for good music.”

Alia and Ranveer are also part of Karan Johar’s Takht, the movie besides them have Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar in pivotal roles.  Takht was supposed to go floors in May 2020 but was pushed ahead due to the outbreak of the Novel, Coronavirus.
