Kareena Kapoor Khan All Set To Don Producer’s Hat With Hansal Mehta’s Forthcoming Thriller Bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor; Deets INSIDE
Kareena Kapoor Khan is making her debut in production with Hansal Mehta’s next gripping thriller, which is said to be inspired by a real-life incident. The project will be co-produced by Ekta Kapoor
With each passing day, beautiful Kareena Kapoor Khan has been making everyone proud with her achievements. After becoming an author, Bebo is now all set to don a producer’s hat. Yes, you read that right! Kareena will be adding another feather to her glowing hat! It's confirmed that the Jab We Met actress will turn producer with Hansal Mehta’s upcoming yet-untitled thriller film.
The project will be co-produced by Ekta Kapoor. They had earlier worked together on the comedy, Veere Di Wedding. While Shashanka Ghosh’s directed the 2018 comedy flick, Ekta co-produced it with Rhea Kapoor, and Nikhil Dwivedi.
Talking about Hansal Mehta’s next gritty thriller, the film is said to be inspired by a real-life incident and is set in the UK.
Kareena confirmed that she is turning producer and admitted being a huge fan of Hansal Mehta’s movies. “I'm honoured to work as a producer on this film with Ekta. I'm a huge fan of Hansal's movies and to work with him for the first time will be special. This film marks a lot firsts,” she was quoted as saying. The filmmaker, on the other hand, mentioned that their aim is to create a gripping thriller and moody thriller with Kareena playing a character and that he hopes she will do justice to her talent as an actor. I look forward to venturing on this journey with Ekta & Kareena, both of whom have accomplished so much in their respective careers and are absolute powerhouses."
Meanwhile, the proud mommy is currently awaiting the release of her film Laal Singh Chaddha alongside Aamir Khan. Helmed by Advait Chandan, the comedy-drama is slated to release on Christmas 2021.
