Kareena Kapoor Khan And Her Manager Poonam Damania To Part Ways After 10 Years Of Working Together?
If the recent reports are to be believed, Poonam Damania will not be handling Kareena Kapoor Khan's work commitments anymore
Managers are very important especially for a celeb, right? They are the ones who pull out all stops to make a celebrity's professional, and to some extent, personal life, a smooth sail. Kareena Kapoor's manager Poonam Damania too did the same for her. From cracking up endorsement deals, managing her movies to shaping up her Instagram handle by posting her gorgeous photoshoot pictures or her vacation pictures with her family- Saif Ali Khan and Taimur Ali Khan. However, the recent reports suggest that Poonam is no longer Kareena's manager. They both have parted ways after serving for a decade. The development apparently comes in the wake of Damania quitting Matrix, the talent management agency owned by Reshma Shetty.
According to the Mid-Day reports, a source was quoted, "Poonam's exit from the company (Matrix owned by Reshma Shetty) happened last month. Many had seen it coming as the differences between her and the agency suits had been building up for a while now. Her second in command, Naina Sawhney too has left the organisation. Poonam's next move is being keenly watched by the industry insiders with buzz suggesting that she may launch her own talent management firm. The idea of joining the rival celebrity management agency, KWAN, as a senior partner cannot be ruled out either. While this puts a question mark on Kareena's professional equation with Poonam, their personal rapport remains unaffected."
However, we haven't received any official confirmation from both the parties, we are still waiting for them to reply on the same.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Bebo is currently co-judging the dance reality show with Bosco and Raftaar. Though for a few episodes Malaika Arora has replaced her. Mrs. Kapoor Khan will be seen along with Irrfan Khan for the first time on the big screen in Angrezi Medium. In the film, Bebo plays the role of Naina, a badass cop. The film is a sequel of the 2017 film Hindi Medium and while talking to a leading portal, the actress revealed that she hadn't watched the first part until she signed Angrezi Medium. Directed by Homi Adajania, Angrezi Medium also stars Radhika Madan and Dimple Kapadia in lead roles. The film is set to release on April 24, 2020.
Bebo will also be seen in two multi starrer films and both with Dharma Productions. One is the historical film, Takht starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. Second is Good News with Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh.
