Kareena Kapoor Khan Auditions For The First Time Ever For A Film; Find Out Which One
Kareena Kapoor will next be seen in Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and in a recent interview, the diva mentioned that she had to audition for the role, and also admitted that she had never auditioned for a film before, not even for her debut film Refugee
Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was last seen on the big screen in the film Veer Di Wedding, has quite an interesting line-up of films. The actress will be seen in Angrezi Medium along with Irrfan Khan, and also in Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha. The film Laal Singh Chaddha is Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump. Now, in a recent interview, the actress has revealed that she had to audition for this role in Laal Singh Chaddha, because Aamir Khan wanted to be 100 percent sure.
While talking to Rajeev Masand, Kareena Kapoor said that she very randomly got a call from Aamir and he mentioned that he’s very excited about it, and after she heard the script, he said that he wanted her to read some scenes. She added, “ So I was like yeah, I have never done something like this. I thought like what the hell. I want to see myself if I want to do this or not and you know there is nothing wrong in that.” Then she also said that she never had to audition for a film before, not even for her debut film Refugee. Kareena Kapoor also talked about Saif Ali Khan’s reaction to it. She said, “But you know what, I think the times are changing and if I don’t evolve and I behave like I am some diva or this is beyond me...And Saif was the one who told me ‘What’s wrong with you? Even an Al Pacino would test for the part. There is nothing wrong, we all have to be sure as actors and artists.’”
