The grand finale of Lakmé Fashion Week concluded on a high note with mom-to-be Kareena Kapoor Khan turning showstopper for Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The actress looked every bit of a begum in a heavily embroidered lehenga choli.
Look at her rocking the baby bump. She is glowing, isn't she? Karisma Kapoor, who walked the ramp earlier on for designer Architha Narayanam in a princess-like red number, came in to support her sister, wearing a nautical saree this time around.
Sabyasachi’s dreamy collection was inspired by Lakmé’s beauty statement for the season – “Illuminate”, a theme that is often mirrored in a signature Sabyasachi design. Bollywood diva, Deepika Padukone turned up to cheer the designer on. The Bajirao Mastani actress looked mesmerising in a saree.
We also saw Bipasha Basu walking the ramp for designer Sanjukta Dutt earlier in the evening and the Bengali beauty stole our hearts with her red and white saree. The nath looks spectacular with the outfit. Thumbs up!
