Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan, niece to late Rajiv Kapoor made a post on Instagram. She informed that there will be no Chautha held for late Rajiv Kapoor. Taking to her Instagram stories, Kareena shared the crucial information with all fans. Rajiv Kapoor, brother of Randhir Kapoor, and late Rishi Kapoor passed away on Tuesday. He suffered a massive cardiac arrest. Rajiv Kapoor, who was popularly known as Chimpu Kapoor was 58. Apart from Kareena, actor Neetu Kapoor also dropped a post on her Instagram, informing fans about the same.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the Good Newwz actress shared a picture of her late uncle Rajiv aka Chimpu and informed fans. Her post read, “Due to the current pandemic circumstances, there will not be a Chautha held for late Mr. Rajiv Kapoor for safety reasons. The entire Raj Kapoor family is a part of your grief too. In loving memory of Rajiv Kapoor August 25, 1962- February 9, 2021” Neetu Kapoor made a post on similar lines and prayed for Rajiv Kapoor’s departed soul. Both Kareena and Neetu Kapoor folded hands and shared the information.

Meanwhile, Neetu Kapoor was the first to inform about the sad demise of Rajiv Kapoor. Later, Kareena’s dad Randhir Kapoor confirmed the news while speaking with ETimes. He shared that Rajiv Kapoor had suffered a heart attack and was rushed at the nearby hospital immediately. Chimpu Kapoor was declared ‘dead on arrival’. The last rites of Rajiv Kapoor took place in the evening hours on Tuesday. Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Chunky Panday, Sanjay Kapoor and several other Bollywood celebrities were present at the funeral.
