Kareena Kapoor Khan Is Thrilled To Be A Part Of UNICEF's 'One Love One Heart' Initiative By Legendary Bob Marley's Family
Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to be a part of the reimagined version of Bob Marley's One Love to support UNICEF
Late Bob Marley's One Love One Heart is a kind of song that manages to tug at our heartstrings, every time we listen to it. It released decades ago but the impact is as positive as it has always been. And, today, what if we tell that Marley's family is all set to 'reimagine' the cult song in support of UNICEF's COVID-19 fund for children. Adding on to your excitement, among many others, Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to be a part of the Marley family in the rendition of One Love. Taking to her Instagram account, the Veere Di Wedding star shared this good news with all her fans.
The actor shared a streak of pictures of UNICEF's initiative for children and wrote, "Excited to join the Marley family as they #Reimagine @bobmarley's classic #OneLoveOneHeart, in aid of @unicef's COVID-19 response." Well, isn't that a great news to start our day with? As per UNICEF's official statement, "The reimagined version of the song will be a true global anthem for 2020 featuring members of the Marley family, established musicians from all corners of the globe, artists from conflict zones around the world, and children living in vulnerable communities."
"Over forty years ago, my father wrote One Love about unity, peace and universal love during a time when there was much trouble in the world. Even in a time when we aren’t able to get together, his message remains true today, we can get through this global crisis if we come together through one love and one heart,” said Cedella Marley, daughter of late Bob Marley.
The fund raised from One Love for Reimagine will help UNICEF in providing soap, masks, gloves, hygiene kits, protective equipment and life-saving information for underprivileged children and families.
