Kareena Kapoor Khan Opens Up About Losing Sex Drive During Pregnancy; Reveals She Shot For A Romantic Song With Aamir Khan When She Was Expecting

Kareena Kapoor Khan has finally launched her much awaited debut book, Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible. She on Monday evening went live on Instagram with filmmaker and one of her closest friends Karan Johar and opened up about her pregnancy days. During their conversation, she also revealed that she had lost her sex drive during pregnancy and shared how Saif Ali Khan was supportive and understanding in those days.
Kareena Kapoor said that it is very important for a man to be supportive and not pressurise the woman to look beautiful or make her feel any less. “People just feel like… When you are pregnant, they don’t realise the kind of moods, emotions, feelings, or what you actually feel about yourself. That’s so important," said Bebo.
Kareena also mentioned that on some days, she would feel amazing and sexy. And some days, she would not, despite hubby Saif Ali Khan telling her that she is looking beautiful.
She further mentioned that there were days especially after six-seven months where she felt totally exhausted. "But sometimes, it’s just a feeling of repulsion. You are just in a mental state when you don’t know what to think. It’s so important to have a supportive man and most men should not put pressure on their wives to a) look beautiful while they are pregnant and b) feel they are any less. That pressure shouldn’t be there or like ‘this is it, our regular sex life has to be super-active," added Bebo.
During the live session, Bebo also revealed that through this all - when her hormones were on an overdrive - she shot for a romantic song with Aamir Khan. Yes, she shot for a lovey-dovey song when she was pregnant. Kareena and Aamir will soon be together in Laal Singh Chaddha. The movie, which is a remake of Forrest Gump, also stars Naga Chaitanya, and is slated to release in December this year.
When KJo asked Kareena what gave her the confidence to shoot for a song and work despite not being in the best shape, she said, "When I work I'm the happiest. I also received a lot of support from Saif. His comfort and words of encouragement were a big help. He also made me feel loved, happy and safe. Most expectant mothers should make sure they get ample love from their husbands."
Kareena also officially announced for the first time her second son's name as Jeh Ali Khan.
