Kareena Kapoor Khan needs no introduction! The stunning actress is making buzz because of her social media posts and upcoming projects. She has been a subject of trolls multiple times. Speaking of that, as many know, she was recently the subject of a controversy after it was reported that she had hiked her fee to star in a reimagining of the Ramayana from Sita's perspective. Reportedly, Bebo demanded twelve crore to play the role of Sita. The actress was trolled for the same.
In the recent interview, Bebo talked about equal pay in the industry and also said that all she wants is respect. Talking to Guardian, Bebo said that she makes it clear how much she should be paid for projects and also added that times are changing and many are now talking about pay disparity in the industry.
"Just a few years ago, no one would talk about a man or woman actually getting equal pay in a movie. Now there are a lot of us being very vocal about it. I make it clear what I want and I think that respect should be given. It's not about being demanding, it's about being respectful towards women. On the work front, Kareena will be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha. She will be sharing screen space with Aamir Khan in the same. The movie also stars Naga Chaitanya. Laal Singh Chaddha is a remake of the Hollywood film 'Forrest Gump'. Besides that, a couple of weeks ago, Bebo launched her book 'Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible: The Ultimate Manual For Moms-To-Be'. She also announced her foray into production in collaboration with Ekta Kapoor and Hansal Mehta.
