Laal Singh Chadha: Kareena Kapoor Khan Gets Back On The Sets Of The Aamir Khan-Starrer
Kareena Kapoor Khan was set to wrap up the shoot of the Aamir Khan-starrer Laal Singh Chadha (LSC), before she took time off for her second pregnancy, but the Covid pandemic played a spoilsport. After completing the shoot in Chandigarh, Kolkata, Kerala, Jaisalmer, Goa and Himachal Pradesh, the team of LSC was in Punjab again for the shoot in March 2020 when it got halted due to the pandemic.

The actress became a mother for the second time (she delivered son Jehangir Ali Khan) on February 21 this year, and now that he is almost seven months old, Kareena has come back on the sets of LSC. The actress shared some pictures from her vanity van from the set today, where she is seen getting her hair and make up done. She seemed excited to reunite with her team as she said, “Back with my loves.”
After facing the halt due to the pandemic, Aamir resumed the shooting of Laal Singh Chadha in September last year in Mumbai, followed by a Delhi schedule. In July this year, the team flew to Ladakh to shoot some war sequences, followed by a leg of shoot in Srinagar in August.
LSC was supposed to release on Christmas 2020, but due to the delay, the film, which will also mark the Hindi film debut of South star Naga Chaitanya, is now looking for a Christmas release this year.

Meanwhile, in the gap that Kareena got between her shoots, she turned an author. She released a book titled, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Pregnancy Bible. She also announced her foray into production in collaboration with Hansal Mehta and Ekta Kapoor. Kareena will also be acting in this gritty thriller that will be helmed by Hansal, and it is said to be inspired by a real-life incident. The film will be set in the UK.
