Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the most iconic films in the history of cinema. From Geet’s madness, Aditya’s calmness to the storyline and of course, the dialogues, everything about the movie is etched in everyone’s mind. People still associate themselves with this film. Given the fact that Jab We Met was a huge success, one constantly wonders if there will be a sequel of the same too, and speaking of which, Kareena recently gave us a hint.
Before you guys jump to any conclusion, Khan saw a video of Kusha Kapila on Instagram and wants her to be in the sequel of Jab We Met. That’s not it, she is also ready with a petition to cast her in the sequel. Kusha shared a reel on her account and the video was about, ‘If Geet from Jab We Met was from South Delhi’. Kusha had captioned it with, “Main apni favourite South Delhi girl hoon”. Soon Kareena commented on the post and wrote, “Petition for remaking Jab We Met 2 with @kushakapila”. We wonder if Imtiaz Ali will pay heed to Kareena’s suggestion.
For those who don’t know, Kusha is often seen imitating Kareena in her videos. In fact, in a few of the episodes of Behensplaining, when she was reviewing her films Khushi and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kapila used to act out like Bebo’s onscreen characters and that too convincingly.
On the professional front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will next be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha along with Aamir Khan and Mona Singh. She will also be seen in Karan Johar’s magnum opus Takht.
