Kareena Returns To The Stage Post Taimur, Replaces Katrina Kaif
Katrina Kaif’s spine injury has paved the way for Kareena Kapoor’s grand return to the spotlight. The new mother will perform at the Zee Cine Awards
Katrina Kaif was supposed to be the showstopper at the Zee Cine Awards but a spine injury played spoilsport with the plans. We were the first ones to tell you about Katrina’s health scare as well as the fact that the showrunners were looking at Deepika Padukone as the replacement.
Now we have news, it looks like Katrina and Deepika’s loss has turned out to be Kareena Kapoor’s gain.
The star who welcomed son Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, her first child with husband Saif Ali Khan, on December 20, will return to the spotlight in front of all the Bollywood A-list with a performance at Zee Cine Awards 2017 which will take place this Saturday.

Kareena has already started rehearsing for her performance and dance to a medley of her hits.
Kareena has been working out rigorously and following a strict diet after welcoming Taimur.
Kareena had happily put on weight during the pregnancy. Speaking about the same she had said, "I put on 18 kilos and flaunted it till the day I walked into the hospital with Taimur!"
However once the baby was delivered she wanted to follow the diet and exercise regime she followed during Tashan (2008) for getting a size zero figure. However, her dietician Rujuta Diwekar advised her against it. But she had been following a less extreme regime, and the results are clearly showing.

Kareena will soon start shooting for her next film, Veere Di Wedding, which also stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, Shikha Talsania and Javed Shaikh.
