Karishma Tanna turned a year older on December 21 and celebrated her special day with friends. The actress hosted a bash which saw a number of stars such as Divyanka Tripathi, Anita Hassanandani, Krystle D’Souza, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Sonal Chauhan, Harman Baweja, Sharad Kelkar, Pearl V Puri and Ekta Kapoor among others turn up. The Naagin 3 actress opted for leopard print trousers and jacket and paired that with black bralet and boots.

Talking about why she chose to celebrate her birthday at home, she told Bombay Times, “I didn’t want to celebrate my birthday in a club because I wanted people to enjoy in a personal space and have conversations. Besides, I love house parties, which is always an intimate affair, where you can chill and be yourself. My birthday was just another reason to party and have a get-together right before Christmas; before everyone starts travelling and meet next year. The entire month is in a way full of celebrations and I love it.”

What does the birthday girl wish for on her big day? “Good health, career and a good life partner. Over and above all of this would be happiness and good health for my mother,” Karishma revealed.
